La Rose Chair de Masanori Umeda 1990

Naître ou renaître, se lover dans une rose !

Présentant la forme d'une rose, cet article est une véritable pièce de haute couture. Les pétales, qui constituent le rembourrage et qui rendent l’assise accueillante, sont réalisés à la main, un par un. La structure est en métal modelé et présente des petites parties en bois profilé. Le rembourrage est en polyuréthane expansé et en Dacron.


Les pieds sont en aluminium tourné, brossé et peint avec une finition transparente et séchée au four. Le revêtement est en velours présentant l’une des couleurs disponibles dans l’échantillonnage. Travail délicat, tout en exhalant une force naturelle, tout à l'inspiration japonaise de son créateur.

A forma di rosa, può essere considerata un pezzo d’alta sartoria. I petali, che costituiscono l’imbottitura e che rendono accogliente la seduta, sono realizzati, uno per uno, a mano. La struttura è in metallo modellato con piccole parti di legno sagomato. L’imbottitura è in poliuretano espanso e Dacron. Le gambe sono d’alluminio tornito, spazzolato e verniciato con finitura trasparente essiccata in forno. Il rivestimento è in velluto nei colori disponibili a campionario.



Rose-shaped, it can be seen as a haute couture item. The petals, which form the padding and make the seat welcoming, are hand made one by one. The frame is in moulded metal with small parts in shaped wood. The filling is in polyurethane foam
and Dacron and the legs are in turned and brushed aluminium with a kiln-dried transparent finish coating. The upholstery is in velvet in the colours available in the fabric collection.


Dieser rosenförmige Sessel könnte ein Meisterwerk der Haute Couture sein. Die Blütenblätter, aus denen die Polsterung besteht und die dem Sessel seinen besonderen Charme verleihen, werden einzeln von Hand erstellt. Das Gestell ist aus
modelliertem Metall mit kleinen, geformten Holzteilen. Die Polsterung ist aus PUR-Schaum und Dacron. Die Beine sind aus gedrechseltem, satiniertem und mit Klarlack beschichtetem Aluminium. Der Samtbezug ist in den Farben der Kollektion erhältlich.
